The UAO is a part of the Division of Astronomy and Space Physics of the Department of Physics and Astronomy at
Uppsala University.
The UAO offices are located in the Ångström Laboratory facility (picture above).
The "Old Observatory" building hosts activities for amateur astronomers and the general public.
