(7248) Älvsjö = 1992 EV21

Discovered 1992 Mar. 1 at the European Southern Observatory in the course of the Uppsala-ESO Survey of Asteroids and Comets.

Älvsjö, now a residential suburb of Stockholm, is the location of the battle of Brännkyrka (1518), in which the young king-to-be Gustaf Vasa participated. More than a thousand lives were lost, and many streets of Älvsjö bear the names of men killed in the battle.
