The ESO 1.4 m CAT
The recently decommissioned 1.4 meter Coudé Auxillary Telescope
(CAT) has an unusual Alt-Alt mounting.
It feeds light into the Coudé train of the 3.6 m telescope,
when the Coudé Echelle Spectrometer is not used in the
fibre-feed mode by the 3.6m.
The roll axis is also not horizontal, why the projection of sky
coordinates on the the telescope roll and tilt axes is funny.
