- CO5BOLD or COBOLD is the short form of
``COnservative COde for the COmputation of COmpressible COnvection
in a BOx of L Dimensions with l=2,3''.
- EOS: ``Equation Of State''
- RHD: ``Radiation HydroDynamics''
- UIO: the ``Universal Input Output'' format.
It is used in CO5BOLD for parameter, model, mean, and EOS files.
