Aries is one of the zodiac constellations in the northern sky. In greek mythology it is associated with the golden fleece in the Jason story where also the Hercules, Gemini, and Lyra appears. The sign for Aries, a V-like symbol is also used for the vernal equinox although the equinox left Aries more than 2000 years ago. Currently the spring equinox is in the constellation of pisces and will in a few hundred years pass into Aquarius due to the precession of Earths spin axis.
