The comet was taken with a Canon 550D camera mounted to the Weterlund telescope. It is a combination of three color images but the colors have been slightly realigned. The comet could be seen through the telescope (about 17:30UT) roughly half an hour before it was spotted visualy. These images were tahen 17:43UT.
