Cassiopeia is circumpolar and is one of the easiest recognizable constellation. Cassiopeia is the beautiful queen in the story of Perseus, in which also Andromeda, Cepheus, Pegasus, and Cetus features. The W-shape made by a number of 1st to 3rd magnitude stars is easily recognized in the sky. The Milky Way crosses Cassiopeia and thus there are several open clusters. Among these M52, M103, NGC 129, NGC 457, and NGC 663 can be seen in the image.
