Cepheus is a circumpolar constellation partly in the Milky Way. In greek mythology Cepheus is the king in the Perseus story within which also Cassiopeia, Andromeda, Pegasus, and Cetus can be found. Cepheus is one of the constellations which passes zenith. Despite the vicinity to the Milky Way there are no brighter objects present.
