Eridanus is southern constellation which stretches far into the south sky, although most of the area can be seen from Sweden. In greek mythology Eridanus is connected to the story of Pheaton which also includes Cygnus. Eridanus is most convenient to see during mid winter evenings. Most of the stars are fairly faint and there is no bright objects.
