Leo is one of the northern zodiac constellations. In greek mythology Leo is the lion slain by Hercules as one of his tasks. The constellation is best seen in Sweden in the late evenings of March and early April. There are several bright galaxies in Leo but only M66 can be seen as a fuzzy, faint dot in this image.
