The moon at a phase angle of about 24 degrees. The image was a test of using a canon 550D camera attached to the telescope i.e. it is actually a color image. Since the camera was not optimized for the telescope the pixel resolution was much higher than what the atmosphere could deliver, thus each image/tile was binned a couple of times. The number of tiles in the mosaic was not counted exactly. There are some 60 to 90 tiles but the mosaic is not along the x/y-axis nor fully symmetric instead it is slightly tilted making some tiles redundant and others added without using a full mosaic row.
