Orion is perhaps the best known of the constellations, situated on the celestial equator. Orion is a great hunter in greek mythology. Stories of Orion is connected to Canis Major, Canis Minor, Lepus, and Scorpius. The central figure is made up by a number of bright stars, but the whole figure also contain some fainter ones. There are several nebulas in Orion. M42 is bright enough to be seen. This image is affected by the full moon in Cancer.
