VALD3: T. Ryabchikova visit to Uppsala in December 16-24 2010
Tanya Ryabchikova was visiting Uppsala for a week in December 2010 to complete the work on atomic line lists for VALD3. During here visit she managed to complete all new data files and port nearly all data that will be carried from VALD2 to VALD3.
More specifically:
The newly prepared and tested data files are listed here.
- The config file was updated and the selection from the whole data set was tested.
Samuel Regandell made a Python script to automatically update the linked page on the wiki according to the updated config file.
- Nik Piskunov worked on more formats for data import/conversion including detection of unidentified level configurations simplifying Tanya's work.
- Nik Piskunov was working on the new showline tool for VALD3. The work is well advanced and in the debugging phase now.
- Ulrike Heiter started looking into the level designation for diatomic molecules. The goal is to have the new TiO lines lists from Plez in VALD3 format with level designations first.
- Eric Stempels started looking into synchronization and UI. T. Ryabchikova suggested to include a Periodic Table with clickable Atom icons for showing to the web page visitor what is available in VALD3.
Nik Piskunov and Christian Stuez worked out the proposal for the VALD3 directory structure.
Samuel Regandell and Tanya Ryabchikova completed the referencing system so that the abbreviations in the transition records match BibTeX entries.
