To install the code unpack the archive to a directory included in the IDL path. Running BinMag also requires installation of the IDL Astronomy Library.
If you wish to use BinMag for spectrum synthesis calculations, Synth3 or/and SME spectrum synthesis code should be installed as well.
To start BinMag interface type in the IDL prompt
IDL> .run binmag6
